This webinar hosted by BADGP Chair Mark Spence, will include:

Our Presenters

We are delighted to have as our presenters:

Rosalind Wall, Department for Transport, Director Motoring and Freight
Rosalind Wall is the Director for Motoring and Freight at Department for the Transport where she is responsible for road safety, road freight and oversight of the motoring service agencies. She joined the Department for Transport originally in 2004, and prior to this role lead work on developing the Industrial Strategy and the ‘Grand Challenges’ focusing on the industries of the future. She has over 15 years experience across 5 Departments including HM Treasury, DECC and a time working for Tony Blair in Rwanda. She was one of the first to complete the new Executive Masters in Public Policy at LSE.

Elizabeth Shovelton, Department for Transport, Deputy Divisional Manager, Dangerous Goods and Roadworthiness
Elizabeth Shovelton is Head of Dangerous Goods and Roadworthiness in Department for Transport. Her team represents the UK at international meetings to negotiate changes to the ADR agreement governing Dangerous Goods as well as working with regulatory and enforcement bodies in the UK. She has previously worked as head of international rail and held posts in road freight regulation. Before that she has held a range of civil service posts in Department for Transport and Home Office (with a short secondment to the European Commission). Elizabeth has a degree in European Law and speaks French and German fluently. She is also a qualified DGSA.
